These are a listing of 50+ programs that have been offered in the past by our department.
Jazzercise Lite is a low to no-impact aerobic circuit class with lots of energy. Perfect for seniors, beginners, or anyone looking for a full workout with easy to follow dance aerobics, strength training, balance and flexibility. Use of a chair is optional. Offered Year Round- Monday/Wednesday/Fridays from 10:30-11:30am. 10 visit Punch Pass can be purchased at the recreation office. Instructor: Kit Sayers, Jazzercise Certified Instructor
Zumba Gold brings the same exciting fusion of Latin and International dance rhythms from the original Zumba Program to active older adults, true beginners or de-conditioned exercisers. Routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms. Offered Year Round- Tuesdays or Thursdays from 6:30-7:30pm. Instructor: Deborah Matthews Bring your whole body into balance through the practice of Hatha Yoga. You will practice gentle to moderate level postures with an awareness and attention to your body’s unique needs. Guided relaxation and affirmations help to bring your mental, psychological and emotional bodies into a blissful balance. Offered Year Round- Monday Evenings from 6:00-7:30pm. Experience a yoga class integrating movement (asana) and mindfulness, energy and breathe (pranayama), deep rest and relaxation (yoga nidra). Appropriate for beginners, all bodies and all ages. This class is an eclectic mix of yoga styles, providing for unique and creative sessions. Offered Year Round- Tuesday Evenings from 6:30-8:00pm. Instructor: Maeve McBride
Join Yoga Instructor and Certified Personal Trainer, Carol Bennett, for this unique non-meditative Yoga format. The class will focus on the physical aspects of yoga. Class will include a progressive format appropriate for beginners. Offered Year Round- Wednesday Evenings from 6:00-7:00pm. Instructor: Carol Bennett
Ditch the Workout, Join the Party! These Zumba Classes are Latin-inspired, dance-fitness classes that incorporate Latin and international music and dance movements- creating a dynamic, exciting, exhilarating and effective fitness system. Join one or more of these classes with our instructors. Offered Year Round- Mondays, Wednesdays & Saturdays from 6:30-7:30pm. We have several different instructors to choose from.
